The leader of the Turkish Republican People's Party, Gursel Tekin, called on the Turkish regime to reconsider its policies towards Syria, stressing that the current approach in dealing with the crisis in this country poses a danger to Turkey's future.
In an interview with Russia Today, Tekin called for dialogue with Syria, noting that if the Turkish regime continues its current policies in dealing with the crisis in Syria, "we will lose much of our relations with the countries of the region."
He pointed out that the conference organized by the Republican People's Party yesterday and attended by representatives of the Democratic People's Party and the Party of good talked about this matter and did not talk about the issue of displaced Syrians only.
Participants in a conference organized by the Turkish Republican People's Party (Peoples' Party) yesterday called on the authorities of Recep Tayyip Erdogan's regime to withdraw Turkish troops from Syrian territory and stop supporting terrorists, especially in Idlib province, demanding reconsideration of all its policies towards Syria, which poses a threat to Turkey.
Over the past years, the Erdogan regime has supported terrorist organizations in Syria with money and weapons, set up terrorist shelters on the border and bought Syrian oil from ISIS, which is on the international terrorism list.
