Prime Minister Eng. Imad Khamis's meeting with members of the People's Assembly of Al-Hasakeh governorate focused on the importance of the complementary role between the government agencies and the people's representatives in the governorate to improve the service situation and secure the requirements of agricultural development, marketing crops and securing the requirements of agriculture, especially fertilizers.
During the meeting, the proposals dealt with the treatment of some non-performing loans at the Agricultural Bank in excess of 5 million Syrian pounds, the installment of farmers' debts due to the Ministry of Electricity, the treatment of the state's cultivated lands file and the increase of pre-made classrooms to accommodate the largest number of pupils and activation of ready-made dental clinics and oncology treatment wing. Al-Qamishli Hospital and the support of the city council with mechanisms and rehabilitation of drinking water supply to the city of Al-Hasakah and grant loans in the field of modern irrigation.
In response to the proposals, Engineer Khamis agreed to provide the branch of the Euphrates University of Hasakah with electricity.The Ministry of Electricity was requested to install the peasants' debts from the people of the province and instruct the province of Hasakah to prepare a list of applications of borrowers farmers amounts more than 5 million pounds to be submitted to the Council of Ministers for processing.
Eng. Khamis explained the importance of continuous coordination between government agencies and members of the People's Assembly in the governorate to deal with issues related to various service and development sectors and to consider more comprehensively the strategic issues of concern to the people of the province and identify the problems that can be solved to be addressed according to priorities.
Engineer Khamis pointed out that the State provided all facilities and incentives to receive wheat crop from farmers through the approved centers, stressing the commitment to ensure the requirements of the people of the province and provide various services.
