Ankara-Sana

Former Turkish Minister of Culture Fekri Saglar said that the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continues to support terrorists in Syria and hinders the resolution of the crisis in Syria.

In an interview with TELE-1 television today, Saglar said that supporting Erdogan's terrorist regime in Syria, especially in Idlib, is the reason for his objection to any military action by the Syrian army in the province, where tens of thousands of terrorists, mostly foreigners, are located.

He called on Erdogan to be sincere in his talk of his support for the unity of the Syrian soil and sovereignty to dialogue with the Syrian state.

On the other hand, Saglar stressed the need to address Erdogan's dangerous policies at the internal and external before destroying Turkey in order to continue his rule against the most basic standards of human rights and democracy.

Erdogan took advantage of the coup attempt in 2016 and launched a campaign of arrests and dismissals of tens of thousands of Turks in all civil and military institutions of the state in addition to suppressing the freedom of the press and the closure of many newspapers, media and websites in order to impose a state of emergency in order to achieve his goals to get rid of his opponents and tighten his grip on Country.
