(CNN Spanish) - Spanish justice sentenced a permanent reviewable prison, a criminal figure for the most serious cases in the Iberian country, to Ana Julia Quezada, the woman who murdered her partner's eight-year-old son in 2018.

On Monday, the sentence on the case of little Gabriel, the boy from Almería, in Andalusia, who was killed by Quezada, the then sentimental partner of his father, was announced.

The author confesses to the crime is accused of a crime of murder with the aggravating relationship, in addition to psychic injuries to the child's parents. Quezada must also compensate each of the parents with more than 270,000 dollars and may not approach them within 500 meters for thirty years.

The boy Gabriel disappeared in February 2018. A large device searched for him during eleven days during which Quezada, of Dominican origin and couple of the father of little Gabriel, participated in the rescue work and came to appear publicly in acts together to both parents. Investigations have revealed that the boy died on the day of his disappearance, that Quezada simulated the discovery of Gabriel's shirt to distract the police and that the woman acted alone. Days later, Quzada was found with the body of the boy in the trunk of his car.

CNN has tried to contact Quezada's lawyers to learn about their reaction to the ruling, but has not received a response.

Quezada's family in the Dominican Republic said in 2018 to doubt that the accusations are true, but they also said they agree to pay for what he did if he turns out to be guilty.
