A new measurement from the National Institute of Statistics and Census (Indec) showed that during the first six months of 2019 there were 1,089,136 new poor in Argentina. Poverty reached 35.4% and homelessness, 7.7%. It is estimated that these numbers continue to rise due to the devaluation of the currency in recent months, values that concern the Government and hit society.
