Tishreen University in Lattakia and Moscow State Technological University (Stankin) signed today a scientific and academic cooperation agreement with the aim of exchanging students and developing their scientific and technological expertise.
The agreement provides for the exchange of students according to a program in the form of short-term specialized scientific training courses, conducting joint research projects, organizing programs, seminars and scientific conferences, as well as exchanging experiences and programs in areas of common interest, teaching and administrative staff and scientific research activities.
The signing of the agreement was followed by the opening of an exhibition at the Central Library of Tishreen University, during which representatives of 19 Russian universities explained the specializations available to Syrian students to complete their studies in Russia at the first university, masters and doctorate levels.
During the exhibition, the President of the Russian Cultural Center in Beirut and the supervisor of the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus, Dr. Vadim Zyachkov, gave a presentation on the mechanism of progress to complete study in Russian universities through the Cultural Center or through electronic communication.
In a statement to SANA, President of Tishreen University Dr. Bassam Hassan explained that Stankin University is specialized in the field of technological development and has sold in the production and industrial development sector, pointing out the possibility of signing agreements with other Russian universities.
It is noteworthy that the specializations in the universities participating in the Central Library Exhibition in Tishreen University varied between law, medicine, media, technology, pharmacy, administration, earth sciences, economics, journalism, linguistics, international relations and tourism. Mathematics, mechanics, economics, physics, astronomy and information security.
