(CNN Spanish) - Without giving a specific date or details about where his father's body is, Sara Sosa, youngest daughter of José José, said in a statement that two tributes to the Mexican artist will be organized: one in Miami and one in Ciudad from Mexico, the singer's hometown.

In the statement, signed by Sosa, the youngest daughter of José José asked “patience” to those who want to know details of these tributes, he says, the process has been more complex than I thought.

José Rómulo Sosa Ortiz, real name of the Mexican artist, died on September 28, 2019 in Miami, United States. He was 71 years old. Sosa Ortiz had been treated for years of pancreatic cancer.

“My family and I ask for your patience to get the details of the ceremonies. This whole process has been complex and with a speed we did not expect, ”says the statement.

“We want this to be a celebration of the work and legacy of a unique human being, whose life was dedicated to his people and his love for music,” continues Sosa.

The family dispute in the middle of the duel

José José's death has been surrounded by a family dispute between the children of his first marriage, José Joel and Marysol Sosa, and his youngest daughter, Sara Sosa.

When his eldest children arrived in Miami to learn about José José's death, they wandered around the hospital and several funeral homes, but could not find his father's body. According to reporters in Miami, neither of them had more details about the death of their father, since their younger sister, Sara, had not communicated with them for 24 hours.

Sara Sosa, meanwhile, says she has given information to her brothers.

By September 29 at night, Marysol and José Joel Sosa state that they did not know where their father's body was. In a video posted on Twitter, the artist's son greets “Sarita,” saying they are still waiting for her to respond and tell them where her father's body is.

“We already met. Me and Marysol are waiting for you to tell us what time we meet, where we meet and what we do, ”said José Joel on his Twitter account. "I know we are going through a duel, but please take the time to mark me or Marysol so we can see, if possible today or tomorrow."

But Sara Sosa has a different version. As she told the Telemundo network, she contacted her older brothers on Saturday and said they know the whereabouts of her father's body and that she doesn't understand why her older brothers have made these statements to the press.

Meanwhile, José José fans expect to know the details of the tributes that will be made in honor of the "prince of the song", one of the voices of romantic music of the eighties.
