Zefta shirt for some streets of Zabadani and the citizen service center early next year

The municipal council in the city of Zabadani in Damascus countryside has started to extend Zefta shirt for some of the heavily damaged streets in the city such as the streets of the western neighborhood, Sultani and Kawashi worth 25 million pounds in preparation for the winter.

The head of the municipal council in the city, Eng. Basil Dalati Bin, told SANA delegate that the council started about two months ago also to implement the project of citizen service center worth 70 million pounds and will be in service by the beginning of 2020.

Dalati said that the families who returned to Zabadani so far reached about 6000 families, many of which are still qualifying their homes, revealing that the number of apartments that have been qualified by international organizations in coordination with the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment and the countryside of Damascus has so far reached 2300 apartments all delivered to beneficiaries The Danish Council is currently rehabilitating 200 new apartments in cooperation with the county and city council.

Dalati pointed out that the agricultural, commercial and handicraft activity started in Zabadani, where he opened about 300 shops and crafts so far in addition to the majority of services are fully secured in the city and follow up daily from the Council, especially the subject of hygiene, which has "improved by 80 percent during the last period." .

Regarding the transport, Dalati pointed out that there are 45 microbuses working on the Damascus Zabadani line while the internal buses serve the citizens inside the city and its suburbs starting from Sargaya to Wadi Barada.

As for the investments belonging to the Municipal Council, Dalati said that a number of investment sites were offered, including a break in Al-Jurjaniya, which started work three months ago.
