An arch bridge of about 140 meters in length over the sea collapsed to the sea level about 18 meters below at the southern fishing port in Yilan County, eastern Taiwan. A running vehicle, a nearby fishing boat, etc. were involved, and 10 people were seriously injured by the night of the same day, and 6 people were missing. The bridge was completed in 1998.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Taiwan, a tank lorry while driving falls and a fire occurs. A fishing boat is under the bridge, and some of the crew are trapped inside the boat.
