Amman-Sana
A delegation of Syrian tribes displaced in Jordan expressed pride in the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorism, pointing out their aspiration to return home soon.
Members of the delegation, made up of a number of sheikhs of displaced tribes in Jordan, said in a statement issued after their meeting with the Charge d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Amman, Dr. Shafiq Diop that they were forced to leave Syria because of the crimes of terrorist organizations that kidnapped and killed some of their children and destroyed their homes, stressing their willingness to return to their country.
For his part, Diop assured members of the delegation that the return of displaced Syrians to the homeland comes at the top of the priorities of the Syrian state and is ready to provide facilities and procedures for their return, pointing to the return of a large number of them during the past months.
Diop said that Syria is building with the arms of its sons, calling on the displaced Syrians to return to contribute to the reconstruction of their country, pointing out that Syria will not abandon its children and work hard to rebuild what was destroyed by the aggressive terrorist war on them.
Thousands of displaced Syrians in refugee camps in Jordan have returned through the Nasib border crossing to their towns and villages in recent months after the Syrian Arab Army freed it from terrorism.
