The savings bank in As-Suwayda has started implementing a new lending plan for one billion liras through the bank's headquarters and its office in Salkhad.
In a statement to SANA correspondent today, the bank's director, Bassam al-Saleem, said that the bank grants loans to people with limited income from state employees and military with a ceiling of one million pounds and retirees of civilians and military with a ceiling of five hundred thousand pounds and scientific professions doctors, dentists, pharmacists, veterinarians, agricultural engineers and faculty members up to one million pounds and maximum. Fifty million pounds and free professions with a ceiling of twenty-five million pounds in addition to development loans to establishments operating at a ceiling of fifty million pounds.
The Savings Bank in Sweida has granted loans during the past nine months worth two billion eight hundred and twenty-two million pounds, which benefited three thousand and forty-three citizens.
