Seven people were killed when a B-17 bomber crashed at a de-icing facility at Bradley Airport in Connecticut as she tried to land.
The seven were on board during the crash, CNN quoted James Ruffella, commissioner of the state's Emergency Services and Public Protection Agency, as telling a news conference.
Six people survived the crash, Ruffella said, adding that he could not give the names of the victims because not every family had been notified.
Authorities said 13 people, including 10 passengers and three crew, were aboard the Boeing B17 Flying Fortress when it crashed at the end of the corridor.
An F-16 warplane crashed on June 17 after it crashed into a commercial building at a US Air Force base in southern California.
