Aleppo University Hospital and Cardiology and Surgery have put several wards, departments and modern medical equipment in service worth more than 4 billion Syrian pounds after rehabilitation of the damage suffered by terrorism.
In Aleppo University Hospital, the dermatology and pediatric ward was rehabilitated and the pediatric intensive care department was restored.
Dr. Mohammad Maher Al-Araj, director of Aleppo University Hospital, told SANA in a statement to SANA the importance of medical departments and wards that were put into service because they provide services and treatment free of charge to citizens and national expertise and cadres.
Dr. Tahrir Masalmeh pointed out that modern medical equipment put into service helps in diagnosing many diseases and reduces the material cost because the value of resonance images is high outside the hospital.
Dr. Tamim Azzawi, director of the University Hospital of Cardiology and Surgery, said that the rehabilitation of the two departments of cardiac surgery has increased the possibility of receiving patients by 42 beds, 4 of them for intensive care and 38 for daily admission.
