The Yemeni Oil Company warned of the end of Yemen's oil reserves during the next few days due to the unjust siege imposed by the Saudi aggression coalition and not allowing oil ships to enter Hodeidah port.
"We are on the threshold of a humanitarian catastrophe due to the inability of the Yemeni Oil Company to provide petroleum products to the most vital sectors needed to cover its needs, especially in diesel," a company spokesman told a news conference in Sanaa.
The company said that the last ship loaded with diesel material arrived at the port of Hodeidah was fifty days ago, although the company worked during the past days to manage the remaining quantities through an emergency program for the most vital sectors.
The company expected to stop the services of all vital sectors that provide basic services to citizens in full over the next few days because of the lack of sufficient petroleum materials to cover their needs.
The Saudi aggression continues to besiege the Yemeni people by land and sea, causing the death of more than 40 thousand patients who were prevented from traveling to receive treatment abroad amid the lack of medicines and tools to treat them as a result of the siege.
