Hong Kong to ban face masks at rallies = local media

The aim is to suppress violence by anti-government demonstrations.

Many demonstrators wear face masks to hide their identity and protect themselves from tear gas.

In response to reports, the Hong Kong stock market rose to a high for the first time in a week.
