The Special Adviser to the Speaker of the Islamic Shura Council, Hossein Amir Abdullahian, has confirmed the presence of malicious foreign hands behind the destabilization of Iraq.
"There are malicious foreign hands that have sought for many years to undermine security in Iraq, which are now working in another way to destabilize it," Abdullahian was quoted as saying in a tweet on social networking site Twitter.
He added that taking into consideration the civil demands of the people, the Zionists and the protectors of takfiri terrorism are behind the recent events in Iraq, but this conspiracy will also be thwarted.
Baghdad and a number of Iraqi provinces yesterday witnessed the emergence of sporadic demonstrations demanding better services and job opportunities, while a parliamentary source confirmed that the Iraqi parliament will discuss the demands of the demonstrators at its next meeting on Saturday.
