[Hong Kong 4th Reuters]-Hong Kong ’s Executive Secretary Carry Lam will hold a press conference at 3pm local time on the 4th. According to media reports, the “Mask Prohibition Law”, which prohibits demonstrators from covering their entire faces with masks, will be introduced from midnight on the 5th.
The two officials told Reuters on the 3rd that the Hong Kong government would discuss urgent measures such as a masking ban in order to deter violent acts in protests.
