For the Social Design Award by SPIEGEL ONLINE and SPIEGEL WISSEN, the best proposals and projects for the future of living are sought.
The competition
Detached house? Mehrgenerationenhaus? Cooperative? Community? What fits in with our lifestyles, what makes social life possible in a multiple dwelling, how should we build a new one, and how can we adapt existing ones? Specifically, how do we want to live?
And this is precisely the theme of the Social Design Award, which SPIEGEL WISSEN and SPIEGEL ONLINE, in cooperation with BAUHAUS, are organizing for the sixth time. We are looking for the best ideas and projects for living the future. This can be architectural designs, but also existing or planned projects, in which it is about new forms of living, about community. The deadline for submissions is 31 August 2019. An expert jury and the readers of SPIEGEL Wissen and SPIEGEL ONLINE will each select a winning proposal. The winners of the Jury Prize and the Audience Award are both awarded the Social Design Award, endowed with € 2,500 per category.
Which of the best ideas and projects are decided by a jury and you as a reader. Because at the Social Design Award two winners are chosen. One of the readers of SPIEGEL ONLINE choose from a shortlist, and one selects the jury.
We are happy if you join!
