Al-Fidaa grocery in Hama today received the first batch of cotton from the farmers of Deir Ezzor.
The director of the gin, Hisham al-Kurdi, told SANA today that the gin will receive the cotton crop from the eastern governorates of Raqqa, Hassakeh and Deir Ezzor for the current season.He pointed out that the quantities received are currently being collected in designated places, and that the ginning operations will start when more sufficient quantities arrive to operate the ginning machines.
Al-Kurdi pointed out that the gin has carried out a comprehensive maintenance of the 10 ginning machines during the last period.
It is noteworthy that the Fedaa grove received last season 17 thousand tons of cotton from the peasants of the governorates of Hasaka and Raqqa for 221 tons from the farmers of Hama.
