To commemorate the October liberation war, the cycling team in Tartous governorate organized in cooperation with the city council “Day of Victory Cycling” with the participation of Tartous sons and athletes from outside the governorate.

Captain Rami Al-Khatib, the owner of the march initiative, which started on the sea corniche and toured the city's streets and neighborhoods, pointed out that the event is “a message of peace and loyalty to the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army on the anniversary of the October war of liberation and to the heroes who have bloodied their pure blood of Syria's new history. .

Captain Abdul Latif Al-Samman of the cycling team in Homs said that his participation with the youth and athletes of Tartous comes to celebrate the anniversary of the October war and also in the framework of spreading the culture of cycling among the largest possible segment of the community.

Chem Shem Mohammed, a pharmacist, noted that her participation, her first time, is a tribute to the makers of Syria's great victory over global terrorism.
