Gen. Ayoub: The spirit of Tishreen will remain a burning torch that will light the way for us

The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces and Minister of Defense, General Ali Abdullah Ayoub, stressed that the October liberation war is an eternal Arab achievement and a bright page in the history of modern Arabs and marked a turning point and a qualitative shift in the history of the Arab-Zionist conflict. On the role of our armed forces in the face of the terrorist war on Syria, General Ayoub said: There is no doubt that the size of the aggression is great in terms of the forces participating in it and supporting it and in terms of the possibilities that have been harnessed and provided to the armed terrorist organizations, but we say with confidence that our valiant armed forces succeeded in confrontation and was able to Withstand and achieve qualitative achievements in the face of terrorist organizations and cut off the way to fragmentation and systematic destruction and turned the heroes of our army heroes to a global academy in the face of terrorism and expiatory terrorism.

General Ayoub stressed that our valiant armed forces proved that they are responsible and challenging in the implementation of the tasks entrusted to them, where they had a key role in the failure of the Zionist-American plan aimed at controlling this strategic area and re-divided and mapping new to suit the Zionist and American interests.

General Ayoub noted the close relations between Syria and a number of friendly and resistance countries, especially Russia and Iran.
