Nicaraguans march in San José, ask to release protesters and advance elections

(CNN Spanish) - In Costa Rica, hundreds of Nicaraguans marched through the streets of downtown San José, the capital of Costa Rica, on Sunday to call for the release of protesters detained in their country, justice for the families of mortal victims of protests initiated in April 2018 and free, transparent and advanced elections.

Among the participants were some released, who traveled from Nicaragua to participate in the activity. This is the second march that takes place in Costa Rica this year, the previous one was held on August 11.
