(CNN Spanish) - This Monday in the center of Lima a group of protesters met to protest against the decision taken on September 30 by President Martín Vizcarra to dissolve the Congress.
Citizens and supporters of different political groups protested because in their opinion that decision of Vizcarra is not within the framework of the Constitution.
Former congressmen and members of the Permanent Commission, an organ that remains in office after the dissolution of the Congress, also maintain that the decision of Vizcarra does not conform to Peruvian laws and therefore will present to the Constitutional Court of that country a remedy to be this institution that pronounced on the constitutionality of the decision taken by the Peruvian president.
