Moscow-Sana
Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov reiterated his country's position that all foreign military forces on Syrian territory must be left illegally.
Peskov stressed in statements in Moscow today that the Turkish regime should commit to a political solution to the crisis in Syria and avoid measures that impede this solution.
Peskov denied that Russian President Vladimir Putin had discussed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan by telephone any new "military" plans for his regime in Syria.
"We hope that in all circumstances, Turkey will abide by the sovereignty, territorial integrity and territorial and political integrity of Syria," Peskov said, referring to the necessity of combating terrorist elements based on the principle of territorial integrity and political integrity of Syria.
During their meeting in Ankara last September, the heads of state of guarantors of the course of Astana, Russia, Iran and Turkey, reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to Syria's unity, sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, continued fight against terrorism and rejection of separatist agendas.
