(CNN Spanish) - Ezequiel Esperón trained in the quarries of the All Boys Athletic Club and the Vélez Sarsfield Athletic Club in Argentina and his talent led him to play international professional clubs in Brazil and Mexico. His career ended abruptly this Sunday when he fell from a sixth floor while he was at a party. He was 23 years old.

According to the report of the Police of the City of Buenos Aires, they received a call in the early morning of Sunday to go to an address in the Villa del Parque neighborhood, in the northwest of the capital.

Upon arrival Esperón had low vital signs, says the police report, and was taken to a nearby hospital where "his death was found."

What happened?

According to the witness accounts to the police, Esperón was at a party on the terrace of the building. The footballer, said those consulted by the authorities, leaned on "in a poorly closed gate", lost his balance and fell.

Police report that there are no cameras in the place. Declarations were taken from those present.

Esperón's career

Ezequiel Gonzalo Esperón was born on April 4, 1996 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I played as a midfielder.

His last club was the Atlante, of Mexico, where he debuted on January 20, 2018. He was in this team until July 2019, and by the time of his death he was without a club.

Esperón played with All Boys in 2015, then went to Inter de Porto Alegre, and later became part of the ranks of the Guild between 2016 and 2017.
