Youth dialogue sessions started today in the Syrian universities under the supervision of the Executive Office of the National Union of Syrian Students with the aim of discussing political, economic and social issues and exchanging ideas that contribute to facing the challenges posed by the terrorist war on Syria.

The three-day sessions will be held simultaneously at universities and will address key issues and topics on identity and belonging, the promotion of participatory concepts, dialogue and term wars and their impact on youth, rumors and lies and their impact in the light of the wars of the fourth generation.

Marah Al-Sharani, a third year student at the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, pointed out the need to raise the level of education, develop plans and awareness programs and organize to support the youth and strengthen their national belonging and establish a generation capable of maintaining the unity of Syria.

At the University of Baath, participants in the dialogue sessions stressed that the economic blockade against Syria has affected the living conditions of the citizen and increased the migration of youth, calling for training courses for university graduates to be able to immediately engage in work.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Al-Baath University, stressed that Syrian youth every day prove themselves through their participation in local, regional and international competitions as the best and the most intellectually and cognitively.

At the University of Tartous, Bassem Sudan, a member of the Executive Office of the Federation, explained that the aim of the larger sessions is to create a mechanism for dialogue with educated university youth and reach results through dialogue, while Hammam Kanag, President of the Union branch in Tartous, pointed out that these sessions are a free platform for youth to express their views and present them to decision makers for adoption. .
