Nobel Prize in Medicine for Physiology

[Stockholm 7th Reuters]-Sweden's Karolinska Institute announced on July 7 that it will give the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine to three American and British scientists who have studied cell adaptation to changes in oxygen levels.

The winners were William Kalin from Harvard University, Greg Semenza from Johns Hopkins University, and Peter Ratcliff from Oxford University in the UK.
