Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's regime has issued arrest warrants for 51 people, including police, on the pretext of association with the preacher Fethullah Gulen, whom the regime accuses of being behind the 2016 coup attempt.
The state-run Anatolia news agency quoted security sources as saying that "the public prosecutor in Izmir province issued arrest warrants for 51 people, including 33 accused of using the application" Bay Look "on mobile phones used by members of the Gulen organization, as alleged.
The sources pointed out that the persons who received the arrest warrants included six police officials, two lawyers, an academician, seven dismissed professors from work, an engineer and four accounting officials, noting that the police carried out raids and arrests in 11 provinces, including Ankara and Izmir.
The Erdogan regime continues to arrest military and government officials under the pretext of being associated with the coup attempt.
The Turkish regime took advantage of the coup attempt to liquidate its opponents and opponents. Tens of thousands of people, including journalists, military personnel, judges, opposition figures and government officials, were arrested and 150,000 dismissed or suspended from public and private sectors.
