The new trade agreement between Mexico, USA and Canada has not yet been ratified by the US Congress, so the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, announced that he will ask for help from the president of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi. The president also met with US lawmakers to discuss the trade agreement, known in Mexico as TMEC.
