The Fernández campaign team presented an instance before the highest electoral tribunal, among other things, asking for an audit of the software that was used in the vote count, because in their opinion “an algorithm was introduced in the software source code that has adulterated the results of the electoral process. ” The same team has stated that it will soon present evidence on its complaints to the JCE and to international observers.

On Monday afternoon at a press conference the National Electoral Board said they have no objection to the software review requested by the president. The president of the JCE, Julio Cesar Castaños, said that “it is an automated voting system with transmission of results that has no doubtful elements and that can be perfectly confronted. It does not contain mechanisms to add votes to any candidate, much less to omit votes. ”

Likewise, said Castaños, "the physical audit was perfect and we have no elements to determine that there has been a malicious type count."
