Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has stressed that the strategy of extreme pressure by the enemies on Iran has failed, calling on them to abandon this approach in opposing the Iranian people.
"The enemies of Iran and the Iranian people, although they did not recognize it, have accepted the fact that the strategy of extreme pressure has failed," the official IRNA news agency quoted Rouhani as saying in a statement.
Rouhani also reviewed the developments since 2018 as the U.S. withdrew from the nuclear agreement and its attempts to raise tension in Iran and wage economic war against it and the Iranian government's plans in the context of confronting these attempts.
