It is not a good time for Ukraine. Its population has had to deal with a civil war that has already taken half a decade. The balance that has left the exchange of attacks with the rebels, has so far left 13,000 people without life in the trenches. Since 2014 Ukraine had 1.5 billion dollars in US military aid and still the Ukrainian forces came to a standstill in their struggle. However, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, announced the suspension of that military aid. That is why many Ukrainian citizens blame Trump for playing with the lives of Ukrainian soldiers to achieve his political benefit, as President Zelensky has resisted his demands.
