Joe Biden calls for the first time open Donald Trump impeachment

2019-10-09T20:32:20.779Z

Investigations into the impeachment of US President Trump have been going on for weeks - several committees are preparing an indictment. Now presidential candidate Biden has publicly spoken out in favor.

The Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has openly pleaded for the impeachment of US President Donald Trump. Trump has "self-incriminated" by obstructing justice and breaking his oath of office, Biden said in a campaign appearance in New Hampshire.

"He should be dismissed," Biden said. What Trump did was wrong, un-American, and threatening US democracy, said the former vice president.

Trump is destroying the constitution, Biden said. "We can not let him get away with it." The president has no decency and spreads nothing but lies about him and his son Hunter, said the Democrat. There is nothing wrong with these attacks.

Trump is accused in the Ukraine of abusing the power of his office. The US President had encouraged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Selenskyj in a telephone conversation to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Biden is currently bidding for the presidential candidacy of the Democrats for the 2020 election, in which Trump also competes. According to the Democrats, Trump temporarily used blocked military aid for Ukraine as a lever. They have therefore initiated investigations into possible impeachment proceedings against Trump.

Trump, in turn, accuses Hunter Biden of being unfairly enriched by doing business in Ukraine. Joe Biden accuses him of using his role as Vice President under President Barack Obama to protect his son from criminal investigations in Ukraine. Biden has repeatedly rejected the allegations.

Sleepy Joe Biden, Who with his son, Hunter, and the American Taxpayer, has ripped off at least two countries for millions of dollars, calling for my impeachment - and I did nothing wrong. Joe's Failing Campaign gave him no other choice!

Trump reacted directly to Biden's attack. Even as his potential challenger talked, Trump tweeted that it was pathetic to see Biden calling for his impeachment. "Joe's failed campaign left him no choice," Trump said in the tweet.

The White House announced in a letter on Tuesday that it was refusing to cooperate with the US House of Representatives in the Ukraine. The government could not participate in the "political theater," the letter said.
