The Artists Syndicate condemned the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory, asserting that the Turkish regime is a criminal system outside international regulations, laws and customs.
The Syndicate said in a statement received by SANA a copy of it today that "this system proves its aggressive intentions towards the Syrian Arab people, which was clear since the first day of the war to embrace and provide all support and assistance to criminals and terrorists and open the border for them and training them and provide weapons, money and media support to them." .
The statement considered that the Turkish regime with its current aggression "completes its crime against the Syrian people as an extension of the historical legacy of the Ottoman occupation, which is full of murder and terrorism against the Syrian Arab people." .
The statement called on behalf of the United Artists Union and its organizations to intervene and stop this aggression and prove that there is an international system that must respect and sovereign states must preserve their national sovereignty, expressing confidence in the defeat of aggression and victory over it as we have won in our war.
