Around 8 am on Thursday, October 10, 2019, an explosion occurred at the site of a waste treatment company in Hörsching, in northern Austria. Several people were injured, and help was mobilized to control an impressive fire.
The Austrian media reports that an explosion occurred around 8 am Thursday morning in Hörschen, northern Austria. It took place in a hangar of Umwelt Service GmbH, from the waste treatment group Energie AG.
A major fire broke out after the explosion, according to videos posted by witnesses on social networks:

- Christian Zeintl (@chriszeintl) October 10, 2019According to the Austrian tabloid Kronen Zeitung , 250 firefighters are mobilized to try to overcome the disaster. Two buildings were destroyed by the flames, and help would try to save a third.
The first reports show nine wounded, three of whom are in serious condition.
The fire is on the edge of Linz airport, but air traffic is not affected. On Twitter, the Austrian police called the residents of the airport to keep their windows closed.
