On the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the October liberation war, the branches of the Baath Vanguards Organization in the governorates held events during which the Syrian Arab flag was raised as a message of love and peace from Syrian children and an affirmation of adhering to the flag of their country as a symbol of belonging, steadfastness and victory.
The event organized by the Damascus Branch in cooperation with the Ministry of Education in the Umayyad Square in Damascus included raising the flag and greeting him and reading an ID card for the martyr Hassan Shaaban who sacrificed his life and is the only one to defend his family in defense of Syria. The head of the Vanguards of the Baath Party, Izzat Arabi Katabi, pointed out that the event confirms that our flag will remain high and will crown us all and surround us and we will remain ready to defend it no matter how sacrifices are.

The event was attended by Minister of Education Imad al-Azab, a member of the Central Command of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, head of the Office of Education and Vanguard Yasser al-Shufi, the Teachers' Union in Syria, and official, union and party activities.
In Deir Ezzor, the flag-raising event in the Euphrates Square in the city included artistic and poetic passages in which the children expressed their happiness to participate. “We are proud to raise the flag of the homeland. In Sweida, the event was organized in front of the headquarters of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, where a number of students expressed their pride to participate in raising the flag, recalling the stories of parents and grandparents in steadfastness and sacrifice, while the head of the organization's branch Jalal Zinedine pointed out that children are Syria's hope and bright future.
The event was attended by the governor of As-Suwayda Amer al-Ashi, the secretary of the branch of the Arab Baath Socialist Party, where Fawzat Shuqair, the head of the provincial council and the assistant of the police chief.
In Quneitra, the Syrian Arab flag was hoisted in the roundabout of Khan Arnaba town. The children expressed their joy and love for their homeland and their land, as the head of the organization's branch behind the caliph acknowledged the heroic sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army.
In Lattakia, the branch of the Vanguards Organization implemented the event in President Bashar al-Assad square in Jableh city, where participants explained that it is a confirmation to the world that Syria will win by the will of its people and a message that reflects Syria's recovery thanks to the steadfastness of all its people.

In Tartous, 400 children from different schools in the governorate participated actively in raising the flag on the sea corniche. Eisa Aujan, secretary of the organization's branch, explained that its aim is to promote the spirit of belonging among the pioneers and the concepts of identity and citizenship.
In Homs, the organization's children raised the Syrian Arab flag in Dablan Park in the center of the city, where Nihad Mansour, head of the organization's branch, and Khatt al-Asaad, head of the organization, camps and camps, and Adnan Yazbeck, head of the Culture and Information Office, said that raising the flag is an embodiment of his holiness as a symbol of national sovereignty and strengthening the values he holds.
