Aleppo-SANA - The celebration of Aleppo, the capital of the Syrian culture, opened on the stage of the Artists Syndicate in Aleppo today

The Artists Syndicate in Aleppo opened today the celebrations of Aleppo, the capital of Syrian culture, which includes art exhibitions, seminars, literary evenings and theatrical performances.

The opening ceremony included artistic dance dances from the heritage, a documentary theater show on Aleppo history in the field of literature and thought, as well as honoring a constellation of distinguished and creative people in the branches of literature, thought and art, including writer Dr. Salah Kazara, historian and researcher Abdullah Hajjar, musician artist Abdul Basit Bakkar and plastic artist Mahmoud Al-Sajar.

The Deputy Minister of Culture praised Shawa in a speech that the city of Aleppo is gaining special importance, especially after the defeat of terrorism, pointing out that the celebration today confirms the depth of the Shahba civilization and its ancient and literary and poetic summits in addition to its richness of the types of culture, knowledge and art of poetry, music and others.

For his part, Governor of Aleppo Hussein Diab said in his speech that the city of Aleppo is back today and deserves to be crowned the capital of culture, including a huge cultural, literary and artistic heritage, despite all its terrorism, pointing out that this celebration confirms the greatness of Shahba and its literary and artistic importance over thousands of years The most important poets and writers.

Jaber Al-Sajour, Director of Aleppo Culture, told SANA that this celebration, which extends for more than 30 days, confirms the return of the cultural life of Aleppo with its various activities and aspects, pointing out that it includes about 100 diverse events with the participation of a number of intellectuals, writers and artistic teams.

Among the literary, intellectual and artistic stances that were honored today, director and theater actor Ghassan Makansi expressed his happiness with this honor, as Aleppo is a creative and civilized city. Cultures were produced by leading poets, writers and composers.

The poet and researcher Hassan Assi al-Sheikh, one of the honorees at the ceremony, pointed to the deep extension of the city of Aleppo throughout history, which gave humanity a lot in terms of heritage and proved that it possesses the will of life.

Dr. Fayez Dayeh pointed out that Aleppo did not stop giving different cultural arts, pointing out that these events stimulate more culture with different colors of representation, poetry and music.
