Four minors between the ages of 12 and 15 were arrested by police officers from the General Affairs Brigade for a series of five violent robberies committed during the summer in Nantes.
They beat up their victims to steal their belongings. Last summer in Nantes, this group of minors repeatedly hit the streets of downtown Nantes. Their targets? Teenagers, like them, but rather from the beautiful neighborhoods. The suspects, who usually acted at five, would attack their victims in the street, without any particular reason, before raping them without warning and leaving with mobile phones, money and other personal items.
As part of their investigation, the General Affairs Brigade officers identified four of the five suspects. Minors, aged 12 to 15 from the Breil district. One of them was arrested Tuesday night, the last three Wednesday morning.
The investigators suspect them of being the perpetrators of five violent robberies. They acknowledged the facts during their hearings and were identified by the victims, said a source close to the case.
Three of the young suspects are to be brought this Thursday morning to the courthouse of Nantes, in the offices of the floor of the miners. The youngest was handed over to his family.
