The Sipa Ouest-France group is positioning itself on the audio market by acquiring nearly 70% of the capital of Saooti, ​​Lannion's pioneering company in digital audio in France. It is also the technical partner of the West-France Podcasts Wall.

After the United States, the digital audio market is experiencing accelerated growth in Europe. The general public, the media, the companies adopt the podcast. In 2018, 37% of French people listened to podcasts according to the Opinéa study for Audible (January 2019).

In 2009, Saooti launched the first ever white label platform for radios and podcasts in the cloud, 100% web and mobile. Since its launch, Saooti has been nominated for the national OSEO competition (Ministry of Research France), and has received the trophy of the spin-off of Orange, followed in the wake of the Cré'ACC Winner (Ordre des experts- France). Saooti is a member of the Images and Networks Cluster and received in 2012 the first prize of this cluster in Nantes (trophy "Loading The Future").

Saooti has been rewarded on numerous occasions: winner of the European trophies Ruralitic 2011 (Aurillac, France), winner of the international competition STARTWEST 2010 (Nantes, France), winner of the interconnected 2010 (Lyon, France), Grand Prix ARCES 2012 "digital communication " (Lyon, France).

Beginning of collaboration with The West-France Podcasts Wall

Today, Saooti has a large portfolio of internal radios (Orange Group, Crédit Agricole Group, Groupama, ...), as well as public, affinity and business radio stations, such as Radio France Alzheimer, Radio Médecine Douce (Webradios Editions), Radio Immo, Radio Village Innovation, Radio CNFPT ... Saooti targets the media, businesses, local communities and the education sector. His virtual studio integrates production and radio broadcasting functions: direct, multiplex, interactivity and participation (chat, telephone), automated and real-time generation of podcasts, management of music playlists, pubs, statistics and multisupport distribution to social networks, radio aggregators, voice assistants, TV box, streaming services.

The collaboration between Saooti and the Sipa Ouest-France Group began in 2018 with the launch of the Podcasts Wall. The platform is dedicated to the production, storage, sharing, distribution and monetization of podcasts designed by the Ouest-France editorial office, the Group's radios (Hit West, Radio Cristal, Océane Fm), as well as various partners. .
