Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reiterated his country's firm rejection of the Turkish aggression against Syria's sovereignty and territories, stressing that it is contrary to the rules of international law and international legitimacy.

The official Al-Ahram website quoted Ambassador Bassam Radi as saying that during talks with Jordan's King Abdullah II, Sisi warned of the negative repercussions of the aggression “on the unity and territorial integrity of Syria and on the political process in Syria in accordance with Security Council Resolution 2254. Stability and security in the entire region. ”

For his part, King Abdullah stressed Jordan's rejection of any diminution of Syria's sovereignty and threatening its unity, calling for respect for international law and the rules of international legitimacy that govern relations between countries.

The two sides also stressed the need to reach a political solution to the crisis in Syria, which preserves its unity of land and people and guarantees a voluntary and safe return of the displaced.

In a telephone conversation with Iraqi President Barham Saleh, King Abdullah stressed the need to intensify efforts to reach political solutions to crises in the region, especially in light of the developments in Syria.

In Libya, the Libyan House of Representatives condemned in the strongest terms the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory, stressing that it represents a flagrant violation of international laws, charters and treaties.

In a press statement, the Libyan parliament called on the UN Security Council to "intervene urgently to stop this aggression and to move quickly to protect the Syrian people from this blatant aggression, which comes within the aspirations of the regime of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his quest to spread terrorism and extremism in the region."

In turn, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Interim Government condemned the Turkish aggression calling on regional and international organizations to shoulder their responsibilities to protect Syria and its people.

The ministry said in a press statement that this aggression "is a serious violation of all international laws and customs and a hostile act and brutal aggression against the Syrian people and territories and shows the expansionist ambitions of the government of Erdogan," pointing out that this "blatant and irresponsible interference threatens massacres against humanity and genocide and undermines peace and security International. ”

An official source at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said that "Turkish military operations in northern Syria are a direct threat to security and stability in the region and an escalation that would undermine the chances of a political solution to the crisis in Syria, which the international community is seeking."

For its part, the Bahraini Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory, stressing that it is a violation of the rules of international law and an attack on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.
