The Nutrisciences and Silliker branch of Institut Mérieux will set up shop in La Flèche, in Sarthe. The laboratory, now located in Sablé-sur-Sarthe, will move and thus ramp up, with the recruitment, eventually, of 150 people.
"This is good news for the Pays Fléchois," enthuses Mayor La Flèche, Guy-Michel Chauveau. In its Wednesday edition, Maine-Libre announced the upcoming arrival of a microbiology laboratory in La Flèche. This is the Mérieux laboratory, with its branch Nutrisciences and Silliker.
One year of construction
The laboratory indicates that there are key job creation. "We should have 150 hirings at term," confirms Patrick Debert, joined by Ouest-France . The general services manager of the group said that the "construction will begin next February", in the industrial zone West, and will last one year.
Indeed, the laboratory Nutrisciences will move from Sablé-sur-Sarthe, report the journalists of Maine-Libre , to take up its quarters rue des Frères-Chappe in La Flèche, in a building of 2,700 m2. The building permit was filed in July 2019.
