[Luxembourg 10th Reuters]-From the list of 28 countries and territories that the European Union (EU) Finance Ministers considered to play the role of tax evasion sites on the 10th, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Switzerland Agreed to exclude Mauritius and others.
In December 2017, the EU announced the “black list” and “grey list” of tax avoidance areas. If you enter the black list, the evaluation will be low in transactions with the EU, and it will be strictly managed. The greylist is defined as meeting the EU requirements, although the tax standards are inadequate.
UAE was removed from the black list and Switzerland from the grey list.
The blacklist also excluded the Marshall Islands and the graylist also excluded Mauritius, Albania, Costa Rica and Serbia.
Meanwhile, the three territories of Belize, Fiji, Oman, Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago, Vanuatu, and the US (Samoa, Guam, Virgin Islands) remained on the blacklist.
