29 days after the opening of the Abu Dhour corridor to civilians wishing to leave the control areas of the terrorist organizations in Idlib to the safe areas, Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists increased their siege on civilians to prevent them from going through the corridor and keeping them as human shields.

SANA correspondent from the Abu Dhour corridor said that about a month after its opening, there was no exit of any civilians from the areas where terrorist organizations are deployed, pointing out that the concerned authorities are ready to receive those wishing to exit to the safe areas where they equipped a mobile clinic and ambulances with their crews, buses and foodstuffs. The concerned authorities, in cooperation with the army units, provided the Abu Dhour corridor with all needs to ensure the exit of civilians from the areas of deployment of terrorist organizations in Idlib governorate and transfer them to temporary residence centers with all the necessary supplies.

In a related context, local sources confirmed that Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists imposed a further siege on the residents of Idlib city and some big cities and towns by deploying terrorists in neighborhoods and on the roads leading to the outside to monitor the movement of residents and prevent them from going towards the Abu Dhour corridor to safe areas.

Fighting continues to occur between terrorist groups as a result of kidnappings and mutual killings of their terrorists after a number of leaders of these groups disagree on the sharing of tax money, royalties they have imposed on residents for a long time and money from their operators, as well as the seizure, looting and smuggling of public and private property across borders. The Syrian Arab Army is keen to clear the remaining hotspots of terrorism in Idlib.
