Hindawi said that the production of Hama governorate of honey for the current season exceeded 240 tons of various varieties, namely thorns, grapes, anise and pond honey, while the number of beehives is currently estimated at 44 thousand cells and exceeds the number of breeders who returned to beekeeping and honey production during this period. These numbers are increasing as a result of improved conditions and the return of most areas to their normal lives.

Hindawi explained that the division of bees began to produce a number of parcels and beehives and sold at competitive prices and rewarding to breeders and is reliable in the production of quantity and quality, which encourages breeders to move forward in beekeeping and the production of honey, pointing out that the majority of bees 'breeders' in the province is currently in a healthy state Good as a result of the continuous guidance and control role of bees for breeders and beneficiaries of grants in order to provide them with the necessary guidance to develop the reality of their work and face the difficulties encountered in addition to providing support through the provision of veterinary medicines that combat the enemies of bees, especially parasites and diseases B-cells are working to provide new bee queens and hives to breeders.

Hindawi pointed out that the Division launched a campaign to combat pests of Varroa and rot brood European and American, which is active during the period of autumn, where the campaign procedures include periodic monitoring of beehives through field tours of beekeeping areas in cooperation with extension units for early monitoring of any infection and initiate timely treatment using available drugs Varroa is in three phases the difference between each week as well as the use of antibiotics such as tetracycline to combat the evils of American and European brood rot.

Hindawi called on breeders to migrate and transfer beehives to coastal areas where there are pastures of mud, mangrove and eucalyptus to strengthen bees as winter enters.

Saad Al-Khani, one of the beekeepers, confirmed that the success of beekeeping and the achievement of the production of clipper honey depends on the compliance of farmers with systematic procedures and controls to implement the usual dispersion process and cover cells with nylon bags and protect them from air currents and fill any cracks may exist in the cell walls to prevent the leakage of cold air between its parts and narrow the entrances of the cells so that Do not exceed 3 cm and put the wooden barrier of the cell if it is less than 10 frames in addition to attention to the process of feeding the application of candy paste with protein feeding.
