As part of the celebration of Aleppo, the capital of the Syrian culture, a traditional artistic concert was held today by the House of Arts for Heritage, which included songs of Tarabiyyah, Quddah and Andalusian stylists from the Aleppo heritage, in addition to the dances of Samawah, Mawlweya and the dervishes at the National Library.
Jaber Al-Sajour, Director of Culture in Aleppo, stressed the importance of this concert, which presents the authentic Aleppo heritage with the participation of a group of artists and musicians to express the rich heritage of the city of art and music.
Mohamed Hijazi, director of the National Library, said that it is not surprising that the city of Aleppo is chosen as the capital of culture because it deserves this title deservedly, the capital of art and history, where many writers and poets such as Mutanabbi and Abu Firas al-Hamdani appeared.
Ghassan Ammoura, from the House of Arts for Heritage, considered that these celebrations are especially important because they are known for their ancient heritage and show the possibilities of artistic groups.
The ceremony was attended by a qualitative audience.He pointed out that these events send a message to the world that Aleppo was and still is a city of culture.Pharmacist Ramia Khatib considered that these events strengthen our country's ancient civilization because Aleppo is the cradle of civilization and heritage, especially after its liberation from terrorism.
