[Hong Kong 11th Reuters]-On 11th in Hong Kong, the subway-operated Hong Kong Railway (MTR) reopened all stations for the first time in a week. The legislative assembly (parliament), which was closed because the demonstrators entered the building in July, began a new session. However, democracy demonstrations are planned this weekend, and confusion may continue.
Before the debate began, there were scenes where members of the system and democratic members shouted. Some legislators sat down in the parliament wearing black masks in response to the “No Masking Act” that prohibits demonstrators from wearing masks.
According to the MTR, the operation will end at 10:00 on the 11th, approximately 2 hours earlier than usual, to repair the subway facility. In response to the destruction of the subway equipment by the demonstrators, the MTR stopped operating on the entire line last weekend and then limited to a part of the service.
