[Dubai Reuters]-An oil tanker owned by Iran's National Oil (NIOC) exploded and burned near the Jeddah port in western Saudi Arabia. Iran Student News (ISNA) reported on the 11th.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation, but experts point out the possibility of a “terrorist attack”.
According to ISNA reports as a story of a related source, the tanker exploded 60 miles away from Jeddah Port. The tanker was severely damaged by the explosion, and oil spilled into the Red Sea.
