(CNN Spanish) - The government of Ecuador has decided to sincere its economy. They maintained the high price of oil and the issuance of debt; Economically today it is not viable, they are immersed in a crisis caused by previous administrations.

Lenín Moreno eliminated the fuel subsidy, which implies an increase of more than 100% in prices, but in parallel produces savings of more than 1400 million dollars per year. This unpopular measure causes an inevitable political fracture: carrier strike and the rise of indigenous and union unions.

What we see in Ecuador today is not a social manifestation of discontent; Nor a peaceful protest. The looting, vandalism, the seizure of property, the kidnapping of police officers and the presence of infiltrates - similar to those seen in Venezuela - denote an orchestrated plan that seeks the constitutional break. There is "cat locked up".

Lenón Moreno points out: “Maduro's satrap, activated with Correa, begins a destabilization plan to attempt a coup in Ecuador. They do it with the money they have stolen. They do not want democratic institutionality. ”

In eight days of protests, there is a state of emergency, 800 detainees and scheduled stoppages. Lenín Moreno must talk with those most affected by the measures that are on the side of democracy, and reach agreements; in parallel you must stop the agitators.

Latin America cannot allow more governments to falter every time some pirates shake them from the rear.

What envy gives the opponent Guillermo Lasso who, responsibly, declares that economic actions were necessary and calls a dialogue table.

Also, Almagro expresses his concern because he knows that three presidents of Ecuador have had to leave because of this type of situation.

For his part, former President Correa, self-exiled in Europe and who faces a series of corruption lawsuits, supports the issue thinking that an advance change of government could exonerate him and, blatantly, states: "I would return if necessary."

The best thing that can happen to Ecuador, and the entire region, is that Lenín Moreno successfully surpasses this.
