Russian researchers and analysts condemned the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory, stressing that it represents a flagrant violation of international laws.
"Any military operation on Syrian soil outside the framework of the Syrian government's approval is a blatant aggression against the Syrian people," said Konstantin Sevkov, a correspondent at the Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences in Russia.
In an interview with a SANA correspondent in Moscow today, Sevkov said that "the militias that were based on the support of the Americans made a grave mistake in their political approach because the Americans can never be counted on," stressing that the Turkish occupation of any Syrian territory would not last long.
For his part, the head of the Eurasian Integration Department at the CIS Institute and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, an expert in military affairs, Vladimir Yevsiev, considered that the occupation of any Syrian territory by any party is totally unacceptable, stressing the need to condemn the new Turkish aggression.
The Russian military expert added that "Turkey's aggression against Syrian civilians these days is unacceptable and must be condemned and condemned by the international community."
For his part, the chief researcher at the Center for Arab and Islamic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences Konstantin Truevtsev that "the President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyip Erdogan, after his defeat in the recent election It comes in this context and on the ground of stoking fanatic nationalist sentiments. ”
Regarding US positions, Truevtsev said the United States is trying to increase the spread of chaos in the region in the service of its strategic interests.
