The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) has won seven awards at the third Syrian Media Festival “Golan Course” which was held today at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts in Damascus and included the distribution of awards and shields to the media winners in a competition announced by the Journalists Union last July.

SANA won the first prize as the best website in terms of content and the first and second prizes as the best sports article for journalist Mohammed Al-Khater entitled "Reality of swimming pools" while the second for journalist Juma Al-Jassem entitled "Syria team .. World Cup" 2022 "and the first and second prizes as the best sports photo journalist by Jinan Badran titled “Sports Formation” and photographer Moataz Mawed entitled “Equestrian”.

SANA also won the second prize as the best subject related to the martyrs and the wounded equally between journalist Shahidi Ajeeb for her report “Abu Hassan father of three martyrs idol patience and love of the homeland” and journalist Mays Alani for her report “Portrait in a new spirit by the artist Ryan Aleppo” and the second prize for the best photo-journalist Photographer Waseem Khairbek entitled "Light" and photographer Ammar Sfrajlani entitled "Portrait".

Al-Thawra newspaper won the second prize for the best half of opinion between journalist Azza Shteiwi, entitled “Political Play on the Nudist and Sabbat Al-Arab Shores in Manama” and Lamis Odeh, “On the Table of Humiliating Normalization” and the first and second prizes as the best investigative report on the occupied Syrian Golan.
